Sherine Desouza was born and raised in New York before moving to Florida in her early teens. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Services with a specialization in Youth and Families and is currently a Student Analyst on the path to becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Sherine loves learning, helping others grow, and making a positive impact every day. Outside of work, she can usually be found planning her next trip, watching a good scary movie, or experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
Laura Lombardo, M.Ed., is The Beyond Spectrum ABA Center's in-house Homeschool Education Specialist, partnering with families to provide individualized tutoring and homeschool education services that meet each learner's unique academic needs. With more than 20 years of experience in exceptional education, Laura is dedicated to creating meaningful learning experiences that foster confidence, independence, and lifelong success.
Laura holds a Master's degree in Exceptional Education and is a Florida Certified Teacher. Throughout her career, she has worked with students across a variety of ages and abilities. Although she began her career in preschool education, she has discovered a true passion for working with adolescents and young adults, helping them develop both academic and functional skills that prepare them for success beyond the classroom.

Known for her calm, nurturing personality, Laura creates an environment where students feel safe, supported, and empowered to learn. She values strong partnerships with families and strives to make education a positive and rewarding experience for every child she serves.
Our Story
As professionals in special education and ABA therapy, we saw firsthand the gaps in services available to families—particularly in communication-focused interventions, homeschooling support, and individualized approaches. We set out to build a center that embraces the whole child, recognizing that true progress comes from collaboration between families, therapists, and educators.
We believe that every child, regardless of their unique abilities, deserves access to high-quality, evidence-based therapy that promotes independence and confidence. Our commitment to individualized learning, family involvement, and community integration continues to drive our work every day.
